| On Monday evening, August 18, 2008, aspirants from newly formed Class 2013, signed on to the Brescia University internet site and began their first class, Th105 - Introduction to the New Testament. This is the beginning of their Aspirancy Year and the initial exposure to on-line education for most of the participants. Over the next four years they will take twelve nine-week academic courses via the internet. In addition to posted readings, writing of papers and test,, they will come together once a week for a ninty-minute session in the "chat-room", where instructor and students will interact in a dynamic environment. This period will be for discussions, question and answer time, and information sharing, all supervised by their instructor sitting in Owensboro, KY. How education has changed!
